This summer saw the return of the well-liked animated comedy “Harley Quinn” for Season 3 on HBO Max, and lately we learnt that Season 4 has already been approved.

Meanwhile, on September 15th, the Season 3 finale will premiere.

According to sources, the project will also have a new director. Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker, who were the former showrunners and initially developed the idea with Dean Lorey, will be replaced by Sarah Peters, who has written for the show since season 1 and already holds the position of consulting producer.

In a statement, Warner Bros. Animation’s EVP for Alternative Programming, Peter Girardi, stated that there are alreafy three seasons are down and he can’t even start thinking of the new heights of chaos and trouble that Harley, Ivy, and the group can get into with a season 4. However, he appreciate HBO Max, one of their partners, for sticking with them on this crazy voyage.

Halpern and Schumacker continued that they are thrilled that HBO Max wants the narrative of Harley and Ivy to continue. And because Sarah Peters is their showrunner and Ceci Aranovich is in charge of managing animation production, they are equally excited that this upcoming season will be in excellent hands. Both of them have had a serious influence on the show from its inception through their brilliance.

After breaking up with the Joker, “Harley Quinn” recounts Harley’s adventures, including how she joins the Legion of Doom with the assistance of Poison Ivy and others.

In season 3 of this biting and hilarious adult animated comedy series, the mayhem and lunacy persist. As the new power couple of DC villainy, Harley Quinn (Kaley Cuoco) as well as Poison Ivy (Lake Bell) return to Gotham after finishing their “Eat. Bang! Kill. Tour.”

Along with their ragtag group of King Shark (Ron Funches), Clayface (Alan Tudyk), and Frank the Plant (JB Smoove), “Harlivy” aspires to evolve into the best version of each individual in the group while simultaneously advancing Ivy’s long-desired goal of transforming Gotham into an Eden paradise.
