Partner of the Late Sushant Singh Rajput Rhea Chakraborty had sent a list of people allegedly making, “Fake and false claims” about the investigation into aspects related to the actor’s death and with reference to Central Bureau of India CBI.
Earlier Rhea has also requested the CBI to initiated legal action against such people who made fake claims on news channels and social media. Maneshinde Rhea’s lawyer said his client will request the CBI to record the statement of such persons featuring in the list to be sent to the agency. Earlier Chakraborty, along with a few others, is facing probes by three central agencies- The CBI, the Narcotics Control Bureau NCB, and the Enforcement Directorate ED.
“We will be forwarding a list of people to the CBI who made fake and false claims on TV and social media, including carrying mobile recording and fake stories on the SSR case with particular reference to Rhea Chakraborty to go after them and record their statement,” Maneshinde said, “We will request the CBI to take legal proceedings against them for misleading the investigation.”
According to him, CBI recorded the statement of a Chakraborty neighbour who has claimed somebody told her that Rajput dropped Rhea home on 13 June 2020, a day prior to his death. Later the actor was found hanged by his flatmates on June 14, 2020. A CBI team had visited Rhea’s house, to gather contact details of Rhea’s family, and subsequently quizzed the neighbour about the claims related to June 13, but did not get specific details.
Investigation on the SSR case is still going on, Hopefully, we will be able to know the true story behind the case.
