The incredible first trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever not only introduced Namor to the MCU but also established the mantle of the next Black Panther. Exciting times, but there’s a lot more lurking beneath the surface that you should be aware of. There is a rumor about the release of a second trailer for the movie at the D23 Expo.

Wakanda Forever will be released in theatres on November 11, 2022. It’s been more than four years since Black Panther was released in February 2018, so it’s been a long time coming. The film was originally scheduled to be released in May 2022, but it was pushed back due to the pandemic, which forced the relocation of several Marvel films.

The first Black Panther 2 trailer debuted at SDCC, revealing a Wakanda in mourning for King T’Challa. In the footage, familiar faces like Nakia, Okoye, M’Baku, Ayo, Queen Ramonda, and Shuri appear, while newcomer Riri Williams is introduced – and a tease of her eventual transformation into Ironheart is shown. Furthermore, the trailer confirms the long-standing rumor that Namor will be the film’s antagonist. Oh, and there’s a new Black Panther as well…

In the sequel, there’s a lot of speculation about who’s wearing the Black Panther suit. After Marvel announced that recasting T’Challa was out of the question, speculation focused on who could take Boseman’s mighty place. While speculation abounds, a new Lego set, of all things, may have revealed who’s beneath the suit in Wakanda Forever.
