Joe Gatto, 45, took to social media on Friday with a shocking news posting he was leaving the show and splitting from his wife Bessy, due to ‘some issues’in his personal life.

The remaining three stars of the joke show, Q, Murr and Sal shared a’saddened’ response to the release but promised to keep the show going indeed without Gatto.
“Sorry in advance for the long and more-serious-than-usual note below, I just wanted to let you all know that I will no longer be involved with Impractical Jokers,” Gatto wrote alongside a black and white image of himself.
“Alongside my friends, I’ve devoted a decade of my life to building this franchise and couldn’t be prouder of what has been accomplished. However, due to some issues in my personal life, I have to step away,” he continued. The Gattos share two children, 6-year-old daughter Milana and 4-year-old son Remington.
Continuing his message, Gatto then mentioned the other members of his comedy group — James “Murr” Murray, Brian “Q” Quinn, and Sal Vulcano. “Outside of my family, my relationships with Murr, Q and Sal have been the most important in my life,” he wrote. “I know they will continue to make the world laugh.
Impractical Jokers was launched in 2011. It has aired nine seasons and multiple specials on truTV. Fans flooded the post, expressing of support and at his departure from Impractical Jokers. Filming on the 10th season begins this month.
