The Justice League Snyder Cut now has a release date. The director posted a tweet on Friday announcing that his remastered version of the 2017 superhero caper would hit HBO Max in March. The initial release was full of some development problems as Snyder had to leave for personal reasons and Joss Whedon (The Avengers) came on board to finish the film’s post-production. Fans disappointed with Whedon’s version also begun an online petition asking for Warner Bros. to release Snyder Cut, and now Zack Snyder’s Justice League is hopefully expected to see the light of day.

Snyder’s tweet was clear and direct, announcing that “Reborn #SnyderCut” will start streaming on HBO Max on March 18th. The OTT Portal will be the sole location of the Justice League Snyder Cut. Since HBO Max is not available in India, fans in the country will have to wait a long time before an international release is reported.

Fans have got to see the Justice League Snyder Cut trailer in black and white late last year. The trailer already has a new tag for the forthcoming version – Justice League: Director’s Cut. Commenting on the monochrome treatment, Snyder said, “My ideal version of the movie is the black-and-white IMAX version of the movie. That, to me, is the most fan-centric, most pure, most Justice League experience. Because that’s how I lived with the movie for two years, in black and white.” Snyder’s latest tweet also showed a black and white film poster.

The Justice League stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momo as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as Flash, and Ray Fisher as Cyborg. The famous DC superheroes set aside their differences to band up against Steppenwolf to combat the inevitable apocalypse. The multi-star cast also features Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, and J.K. Simmons, among others, as Commissioner Gordon.
