Justin Bieber has been suffering a terrible infection that has rendered the right side of his face paralysed, and he’ll need to take some time off to recover.
The artist released a video on Friday in which he explained why he had to cancel many gigs in the previous week due to a diagnosis of Ramsay Hunt Syndrome. Bieber claims the paralysis is due to a nerve in his ear being impacted.
Justin is unable to blink with one eye and can only smile with one side of his mouth, as seen in the video.
While JB apologises for missing recent gigs, he claims the situation is “very serious” and that he’ll need to take an unspecified period of time off to focus on his health.

He claims he’s been doing facial workouts and that everything will return to normal with practice; however, he doesn’t know how long that will take.
