Kareena Kapoor to make her OTT debut with Netflix Film directed by Sujoy Gosh announced by the streamer on Wednesday.
Bollywood Superstar took to her Instagram account shared BTS videos and some stills with a caption of, “And so it begins 12th street Entertainment and Northern Lights films in association with the bound script and Kross pictures present a Netflix Originals directed by Sujay Gosh. Produced by Jay Shewakramani and Akash Puri. Produced by Sujoy Gosh and Thomas Kim.”
This is very big news for all the fans of Kareena Kapoor.
This Untitled film is based on the 2005 Japanese bestseller, ” The Devotion of Suspect X” and will also feature actors Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma.
This is the third novel in Higashino’s Detective Galileo series is considered to be the most acclaimed work and it got him Naoki Prize, a highly regarded literary honour and also won the prestigious Honkaku Mystery award.
Kahaani director Said, ” Devotion is probably the best love story I’ve ever read and to get a chance to adapt it into a film is such an honour. Plus, I get a chance to work with Kareena, Jaideep and Vijay! What more one can ask for.”
Kareena Kapoor told, ” I’m very excited to be a part of this project for several reasons The film will mark my streaming debut and it’s my return to acting after my second child with a stellar cast and crew.”
She welcomed her second child named Jeh in February 2021.
