Bollywood Heartthrob Kartik Aaryan rejected a paan masala advertisement deal which was worth ₹ 8-9 crore, Bollywood Hungama reports.
The website checked this news with a prominent ad guru saying that’s right as the actor has said no to around ₹ 8-9 crore offer to endorse paan masala.
He further said that the 31-year-old actor seems to have principles, a rare commodity in today’s actors who suffer from the gift of the grab.
He believes that saying no to such big money is not easy but Kartik is conscious of his responsibility as a youth icon.
During the rising voices to boycott Chinese products after the Ladakh standoff in 2020, the Pyaar Ka Punchnama actor became the first Bollywood actor to quit a multi-crore deal with a Chinese brand. He has reportedly walked out of endorsing the Chinese phone Oppo, OpIndia reports.
Kartik Aaryan’s last film was Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which also stars Kiara Advani, and Tabu in the lead roles. It was directed by Anees Bazmee and distributed by AA Films.
