On the horizon is one of the most significant shows to result from the Ryan Murphy Netflix deal. We’re talking about Murphy and his longtime partner Ian Brennan’s compelling 10-part limited series  (Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story), which tells the tale of the well-known serial killer. This is the most recent in the series.

Murphy co-wrote the script for Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story with David McMillan and Ian Brennan (Glee, Ratched, Scream Queens) (Lucifer, Sleepy Hollow).

The limited series’ three credited directors are Janet Mock, Paris Barclay, and Carl Franklin (House of Cards, Mindhunter), with Franklin directing the pilot episode (Pose, Hollywood). Along with Murphy and Brennan, all three directors will work as executive producers on the show. Additionally, Rashad Johnson of the racial justice initiative Color of Change will act as supervising producer.

When will Netflix release DAHMER (Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story)?

DAHMER’s official debut has been scheduled for late 2022, but no release date has been specified as of yet. Although there is no confirmation, but it is heard that Netflix is currently targeting September 21st, 2022, the release date for the series.

The cast in Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story

A longtime coworker of Ryan Murphy’s Evan Peters will play the title character, it was announced in March 2021. Peters has made numerous appearances in American Horror Story under Murphy, most notably playing Quicksilver in WandaVision. In addition to Peters, Richard Jenkins (The Shape of Water, Berlin Station), an Emmy winner, and Penelope Ann Miller will play Jeffrey Dahmer’s parents, Lionel and Joyce.

Niecy Nash, another of Ryan Murphy’s go-to performers, will play the lead role in the other series. Nash will portray Glenda Cleveland, Dahmer’s neighbour who repeatedly phoned the police and even attempted to call the FBI to inform them of Dahmer’s strange conduct. Along with them, Shaun Brown and Colin Ford will appear in the film The Monster. Brown will play Dahmer’s final planned victim.

The plot of the Netflix Series Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story

The notorious American serial killer and sex offender Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer, often known as the Milwaukee Cannibal or the Milwaukee Monster, killed and dismembered 17 men and boys between 1978 and 1991, many of whom were people of colour and several of whom were minors.

The majority of the killings also included cannibalism, necrophilia, and the preservation of body parts. Dahmer was ruled to be legally sane during his trial despite having been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, schizotypal personality disorder, and a psychotic disorder. He was beaten to death by another prisoner in 1994 after being found guilty of 16 murders. He was 34.
