Following Salman Khan’s announcement of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2,’ writer KV Vijayendra Prasad has disclosed that he is also writing the script for Akshay Kumar’s ‘Rowdy Rathore 2’. Sanjay Leela Bhansali approached KV Vijayendra Prasad for the sequel, KV Vijayendra Prasad confirmed to a news source. According to reports, the writer plans to finish the script soon. Prasad also wrote the Telugu script for Rowdy Rathore’s original film, ‘Vikramarkudu.’ The sequel, however, will only be made in Hindi, according to the article.
According to the rumour, Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha would return as the lead actors, reprising their roles as Shiva and Paro from the first film. The film, however, will apparently not take up where the first portion left off and will instead follow a fresh storyline. By the end of 2022, the film should be under production.
Even the Salman Khan-director, starrer’s Kabir Khan, admitted that the script isn’t complete yet, and that the idea hasn’t been developed.
