The Harris family is still separated by the time when Season 2 begins. Josh (Jack Martin, All Rise) accidentally entered a vortex that sent him to 1988, leaving his mother Eve (Natalie Zea, Justified) in grief. Gavin, her estranged husband (Eoin Mackin, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter), and their daughter Izzy (Zyra Gorecki, Chicago Fire), are currently making their way back to Los Angeles from prehistoric Seattle. In addition, Jonno Roberts (Wrecked) joins the cast in the second season as James, a bright scientist, and entrepreneur attempting to save the planet from the terrible chaos.
