Original story (published on May 09, 2022) follows:

Lenovo Smart Display is a smart home device that combines the features of a smart speaker with a large in-built screen. Launched in 2018, it was the first smart device with a screen that came with Google Assistant.

Users have the option to choose between the 8-inch or 10-inch Full HD displays with both variations featuring a full range speaker that comes with two tweeters and multi-room audio support.

It is also tightly integrated into the Google ecosystem and even has native support for Google Duo for video calling.

That said, many Lenovo Smart Display owners are now facing voice echo issues when using the device for Google Duo calls.

Reports suggest the issue surfaced a few weeks ago. Users say the issue is rendering the Lenovo Smart Display calling feature completely useless.

Moreover, generic troubleshooting solutions such as restarting the device and resetting settings do not seem to help. Below are some reports from Lenovo Smart Display users facing voice echo issues on Google Duo.

Unfortunately, we are yet to come across any official word on the matter from Lenovo or Google. We hope the two tech giants work together and fix the Lenovo Smart Display voice echo issue on Google Duo in the coming days.

When they do, we will be updating this space to reflect the same so stay tuned to PiunikaWeb.
