Logitech is a world leader in input and interface devices such as mice, keyboards, headsets, speakers, and webcams. Not just that, they also provide excellent software support to these devices.

Logitech G Hub is one such program that allows you to customize your hardware with features like assigning macros and key bindings, creating color breaks, animations, and so on.

Users can create multiple profiles for different games and software which they can switch between effortlessly.

But lately, many users are reporting that they are facing mapping and connectivity issues with Logitech G Hub after v2022.6.271036 update on macOS and v2022.6.4530.0 update on Windows (1,2,3,4,5).

Mapping issue

Logitech G Hub allows users to assign custom functions to various buttons on their devices and save them as profiles. In the case of mice, when a user changes a profile it resets all settings to default except for the mouse dpi (1,2,3).

Connectivity issue

This issue happens when users try to connect their devices to Logitech G Hub. It either gets stuck on the loading screen or doesn’t recognize the device at all (1,2,3,4,5).

Multiple reports indicate that both issues could have been caused by the recent updates to the G Hub program (1,2,3,4).

Users have tried updating Logitech G Hub as well as uninstalling and reinstalling it but none of this seems to help.

Potential workarounds

There is no official acknowledgment yet for any of these issues from the Logitech side. In the meantime, there are potential workarounds that could help you solve the mapping and connectivity issues.

We hope developers soon release an update that fixes the Logitech G Hub mapping and connectivity issues. As always, we will be updating this space when the problem is resolved so stay tuned

  1. Once those processes are ended, navigate to C:\Program Files\LGHUB and run these in order: -> Lghub_updater.exe -> Lghub_agent.exe -> Lghub.exe Source
