Ever since its release on February 11 this year, Lost Ark has gained massive popularity worldwide. Within a day of its release, the game had become the second most played game on Steam.

The MMORPG focuses mostly on PvE and exploration, but for those interested, features some PvP action as well.

Having said that, we at PiunikaWeb have covered several issues such as broken or unfair matchmaking and many experiencing micro-stutters, FPS drops and performance problems.

And as it turns out, Lost Ark players are now reporting (1,2,3,4,5) that the Stronghold Lab secondary research slot is missing after the March 3 update.

Many said they tried restarting the game and verifying files but nothing works. You can see in the image below that the secondary research slot in Stronghold Lab is missing and greyed out.

Thankfully, the developers have acknowledged the issue and said it is under investigation.

In the meantime, a user-reported workaround seems to be helping some. It involves changing the drop-down from Available to All Research. Players can then use the second slot as intended.

We hope Lost Ark developers soon find out the root cause of the problem and fix it in the coming days.

Rest assured, we will be keeping tabs on the matter and update this article as and when we come across more information so stay tuned to PiunikaWeb.
