According to Louis Pisano, ASAP In a since-deleted post, Rocky admitted to cheating on Rihanna with shoe designer Amina Muaddi.
After tweeting that Rihanna and ASAP Rocky had broken up due to infidelity, fashion writer Louis Pisano has apologised.
ASAP was “found cheating” on Rihanna with shoe designer Amina Muaddi, according to the social media influencer, who uses they/them pronouns.
“Last night I made a dumb decision to tweet some information I had received,” Pisano tweeted on 15 April. “I’m not going to talk about sources, blame others for a discussion that was started, etc because at the end of the day I made the decision to draft that tweet, press send and put that out with my name on it.”
“I’d like to formally apologise to all parties I involved with my actions and for my reckless tweets,” they said.
“Rihanna split up with [ASAP] when she discovered him cheating with shoe designer Amina Muaddi,” Pisano stated in a since-deleted tweet on Thursday 14 April, sparking rumours that Rocky and Rihanna had broken up.

The unsubstantiated claims sparked outrage on social media, with the pair – who are expecting their first child together – becoming a Twitter trending topic as followers reacted to the report. Muaddi, on the other hand, rejected the cheating allegations in a message uploaded to her Instagram story on Friday.
“I’ve always thought that a baseless untruth disseminated on social media doesn’t deserve any response or clarification,” Muaddi stated in the post. “At first, I didn’t think this bogus gossip, produced with such malice, would be taken seriously.
“Therefore I have to speak up as this is not only directed towards me but it is related to people I have a great amount of respect and affection for,” she continued. “While Rih is continuing to live her serene, best-dressed pregnancy life and I got back to my business – I wish everyone a beautiful Easter weekend!”
On Friday, multiple sources disputed the rumour in statements to TMZ and Page Six.
Rihanna was on the cover of Vogue’s May 2022 edition earlier this week, when she discussed her relationship with Rocky. “I just feel like I can do any portion of life at his side,” the Fenty Beauty founder, who is presently in her third trimester, remarked.
The couple started dating in early 2020 and announced last January that they were expecting their first child together.
