It’s the Holiday season, and what better way to spend it than sitting on your couch, managing your favorite NFL team, and winning the Super Bowl with them?
Madden 23’s Franchise mode is designed specifically for this purpose, allowing you to play offline or in a league with up to 31 other players to build your own NFL world.
However, some players are experiencing difficulties with the CFM game mode.
Madden 23 CFM connection issues
Madden 23 gamers complain that they have been unable to play CFM due to connection issues, in which they are either disconnected between matches or unable to launch the game mode itself (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9).
There appear to be server-related difficulties, as players receive a prompt that states ‘Our servers cannot process your request at this time’ while attempting to play the game mode.
This is hardly the Christmas present that players wanted given that they are unable to resume their season on CFM no matter how many times they try.
The problem appears to have been ongoing for a few days and has caused some inconvenience. MUT, on the other side, is fully operational and accessible.
Some CFM players feel that the developers are neglecting them as the MUT had a similar issue that was quickly fixed (1,2,3).
Issue acknowledged
Fortunately, Madden support has acknowledged the connection issues while attempting to connect to CFM and has said that they are looking into it. However, no timeframe for a fix was provided. Source

Update 1 (December 29, 2022)
09:44 am (IST): Madden NFL support has confirmed that players should be able to play CFM without any issues after the recent maintenance.
10:16 am (IST): Multiple reports (1, 2, 3) now suggest that Madden 23 CFM servers are currently down or not working for a section of users.
Update 2 (December 30, 2022)
12:27 pm (IST): EA has acknowledged the issue where a number of players (1,2,3,4,5) are now having trouble accessing Madden Franchise. The team is currently working on it.
Update 3 (Jan. 5, 2023)
05:50 pm (IST): A moderator has informed that players who were facing this issue might end up with corrupted Franchise files. However, they’ve asked those players to start a new franchise as the game mode is now working fine.
