Franchise mode in Madden NFL allows players to oversee a franchise or numerous teams across a number of seasons.
It also includes more AI tweaks and features like player motives, tagging, scouting and much more.
However, it seems that the Franchise mode is currently bugged as it’s not saving any progress made by players and keeps kicking them out of the league.
Madden NFL 23 keeps reverting Fantasy Draft
Many players (1,2,3,4,5) have been reporting an issue where Madden NFL 23 keeps reverting/resetting the Fantasy Draft in the Franchise Mode.
In some cases, players may switch off their consoles without any issues, and come back later, only to find that their progress was never saved.
Sometimes, Madden NFL 23 players are taken back to the Draft thus preventing them from playing Preseason.
The Franchise Mode has basically become unplayable as players find themselves stuck and unable to complete the Draft.
Franchise Mode keeps disconnecting players
Apart from the Fantasy Draft resetting, Madden NFL 23 is constantly disconnecting players due to prolonged inactivity.
Players are frustrated as the disconnection issue takes them back to the Draft which has already failed to save their progress and newly-selected players.
Official acknowledgement
Fortunately, EA has acknowledged the issue where Madden NFL 23 keeps disconnecting and reverting Fantasy Draft in the Franchise Mode.
We’ve not come across a workaround that can possibly help fix the issue. So, players will have to wait till the team comes up with a resolution.
