The second half of the two-part Innistrad adventures in Magic: The Gathering arrived digitally this week and players can now begin exploring all of the new cards right now. Innistrad Crimson Vow takes players back to the horror-themed plane once more for another terrifying adventure.

As always, Magic Arena will once again be providing special digital pre-release events featuring sealed and draft tournaments all throughout this week. Players can login on PC or from a mobile device to try out the new Magic: The Gathering set and start building up their collection. There are also new rules and mechanics to master during the pre-release window before big tournaments start firing off..

The Innistrad Crimson Vow format is sure to dominate the available events on Magic Arena in the coming months and players who are trying to build up their collection of the new cards can cash in a few free packs to get the fun started.

Wizards of the Coast has beein offering a one-time use promo code when each set drops on Magic Arena to provide players with three free packs. There’s no exception this time around and fans of the game can now grab their free Crimson Vow cards with the following promo code…

Innistrad Midnight Hunt Promo Code

PlayVOW

In order to redeem the code and claim the packs, players just need to head to the game’s Store tab. From that area, they should be able to find a Redeem Code field in the upper righthand corner. Entering the case sensitive “PlayVOW” code will add three packs of the new set to their collection. Keep in mind that each of the “Play” codes can only be redeemed one time. Some of the older codes are still active, so players who haven’t claimed those yet should give each of them a try and see what still works.

Three packs won’t get players very far in terms of gaining enough new cards to build a Standard legal constructed deck, but it’s still a nice offer. The free packs arrive at the beginning of every set to draw new players in and give dedicated players a little reward. The free packs do a nice job of introducing the more casual players to the general theme of a new set and, ideally for Wizards, may tempt them to purchase entry to a pre-release event to see even more of the new cards.

Magic: The Gathering - Crimson Vow is available now on Magic Arena. Other Magic: The Gathering sets are available now at game shops or digitally in Magic Arena.
