Johnny Depp has completed his four-day deposition in the defamation action he filed against his former wife, Amber Heard. On Monday, the slander trial ended. It was held in a courtroom in Fairfax, Virginia. On the fourth day of the trial, Amber Heard’s attorney, Ben Rottenborn, cross-examined the actor. Depp was questioned about the audio clips in which he allegedly chastised Amber. The court listened to the audio clips just hours before Depp’s testimony.
He has, however, insisted that he never hit Amber. Instead, he claims that Heard was the one who struck him. Depp claimed that he, not his ex-wife Amber, was the victim of domestic abuse. When questioned if Heard was the only person affected by Depp’s alcoholism, the actor stated that he was the only person he had ever abused. He also described the termination of his romance with Heard as “horrific.”
The defamation trial began last week and will likely run at least six weeks. Heard and Depp have both been accused of physical assault. Heard has yet to testify in this case in court. We can conclude from this that male lives are similarly important. In India, males are attempting to persuade the police, judiciary, and parliament that their permission is important as well. Even 4-year-old boys are unjustly accused of rape, and the false accusers receive no punishment. Many people are tweeting with hashtags like #IamJohnnyDepp and #JudiciaryHatesMen in response to the incident involving Johnny and Amber, and it is presently trending on Twitter.
