The upcoming film Tehran will feature model-actor Manushi Chhillar opposite Bollywood superstar John Abraham, the movie’s producers said on Tuesday.
Arun Gopalan, an advertisement director, makes his feature directorial debut with the action thriller, which is based on real-life events and is produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films.
The news was posted on the production banner’s Twitter account along with images of the actor. Chhillar poses with Abraham in the photos while sporting short hair and carrying a gun.
The former Miss World, who marked her debut appearance in the Samrat Prithviraj movie starring Akshay Kumar, expressed her excitement to be a part of Tehran.
“Super excited to join the one & only @TheJohnAbraham on #Tehran. This journey is going to be really special!” wrote the actor.
Ashish Prakash Verma and Ritesh Shah wrote the script of Tehran. Maddock Films and Bake My Cake Films collaboration produced the film. In addition to Vijan, the film’s producers are Shobhna Yadav and Sandeep Leyzell.
