LONGUEUIL, QC, Jan. 14, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ – The NASA-led Artemis program is a new generation of lunar exploration missions designed to send humans farther into space than ever before.
NASA is inviting a limited number of media to visit the Kennedy Space Center in Florida to see the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket and Orion spacecraft rolling out for the first time. The SLS and Orion will be tested no earlier than mid-February 2022 in preparation for the Artemis I mission. Artemis I will bring us one step closer to a CSA astronaut’s historical journey around the Moon. Artemis II, the first crewed mission of the Artemis program, is currently planned to launch in May 2024.

To begin the accreditation process, Canadian media representatives must apply by January 18, 2022. All media accreditation requests should be submitted online at https://media.ksc.nasa.gov.
